Many people learn tarot from Rider Waite Smith (RWS). Everyone knows and understands their true meanings, also realizes that RWS is one of the best tarot card deck ever. However, people usually read the meaning from the main character on the card, or maybe the name of the card. What if there is no longer any characters, how should we read the meaning?
By removing the characters, Location Tarot is the tarot deck that emphasizes the beauty of Rider Waite Smith's scenery and places. The characters still exists in our memory. The Spirit of Place allows us to better appreciate the sunrise, sunset, day time, night time, power of nature, and history. If you are open, those little details on the card could reveal deeper meaning than you expected.
If you look at the card carefully, you will notice all the transparent lines that compose a picture of a character in your mind. You could feel the ambient or you could imagine yourself in that ambient.
Instead of using white line arts, the SPOT UV technique is introduced. It gives the full appreciation of nature in those places as well as the feeling of the character's spirit.
