Theme: the world of music. This deck by Menegazzi, was done in consultation with Paola Maino and with the collaboration of Giovannino Scarsato. The fronts are glossy; the backs a solid color. Card titles are in Italian. Each of the characters or scenes in the Major Arcana are a depiction of an opera which illustrates the meaning of the corresponding card. Along the side of the image (written sideways), is the Italian name of famous opera compositions, and the composer; classics from Giuseppe Verdi to Chopin.
Box style: sturdy slipcover with ribbons.
