People avoid extremes, they protected their warm safe world with the words: good, kind, bad, evil, and try to keep to the middle. They say: we don’t need bad things, but really good things are somehow too burdensome - it’s awkward in its presence; something mediocre, gray would be quite enough to sleep peacefully. The one who overcame one of the borders is considered crazy, dangerous by people - why was it necessary to leave such a cozy world?
Extremes are looped somewhere on the other side of the mirror. It turns out that he who is capable of good is also capable of evil. And vice versa. Great sinners become glorified saints. There are enough examples of all this, although these are rare occurrences, because a rare bird flies to the bottom of that abyss. After all, the bottom is very far away. Where it is located - at the top or at the bottom - does not matter much. But somewhere along the way, there is a zone of turbulence, and who knows where you will be carried by a monstrous stream.
People doomed themselves to dullness. They elevated it to a cult and now preach it as a way to salvation, eternal youth and health. The tragedy of that situation is that people who are really traumatized by life go crazy and get drunk too quickly, becoming hostages of thrills, without having time to guess what really pushed them over the edge of the norm.
