This deck is carefully constructed to be easily read by beginners from the images of the cards alone - and their symbolism. It is entirely intended as a beginner deck but also one which will reward practical experience.
This deck is not only novel in having A.I. designs, but also in including a Pip set and Scenic set of Minor Arcana (40 of each set) allowing readers to swap out the scenic cards for pip cards and read in a fashion suited for Tarot de Marseille decks. Alternatively, you can swap in the scenic cards and read similar to Waite-Smith, Golden Dawn, or any other variant of the readily recognised scenes of the Waite-Smith Tarot.
There are four optional cards in the deck called the Personages, which are figures representing the nascent energy of the Ace of each suit. These also give visualisation options for those wishing to pathwork into the very elements themselves.
This deck has been created from decades of experience and deep research conducted for previous books - and for a forthcoming book on tarot mysticism which has not yet been announced.
The cards are constructed from the themes and symbolism of the Golden Dawn Book T, blended with the text of A. E. Waite in describing the cards of the Waite-Smith Tarot. As Waite was "under oath" he could not reveal the links between his designs and the teachings of the secret magical Order, but clues can now been seen - particularly since our re-discovery of his second tarot images with stained glass artist J. B. Trinick.
The deck you receive will be approx. 130 cards in total, comprising of 22 Major Arcana (and 5 variants of particular cards) + 16 Court Cards (and 4 variants) + 40 Scenic Minors (Ace to Ten of Four Suits) + 40 Pip Minors (Ace to Ten of Four Suits). There are likely to be 3 extra cards chosen as variants closer to printing.
The deck produced both as a regularly titled deck or a deck with unobstrusive keyword labelling, such as kabbalistic correspondence - and plain english translation of its meaning, and selected universal keywords from our own teaching.
